SiN is a first-person shooter computer
game developed by Ritual Entertainment
released on October 21, 1998. It was
re-released on Valve's Steam platform on
April 5, 2006, bundled with its sequel
and first of many episodes in the
series, SiN Episodes: Emergence. Now at
version 1.12, this version of SiN
includes fixes for audio and video
playback problems as well as integration
with the Steam multiplayer server
browser. However, it also contained
alterations to game's content on many
the textures and skins. These edits were
made due to "copyright issues", among
several other things as will become
evident. This page is a catalogue of all the edits made to the textures that I was able to find. I meticulously searched through over 3500 textures to find any differences that existed between the original release's and Steam's. If I missed any, well, pobody's nerfect. |
